Lost Places - Dammstraße 5
The dilapidated house was located at Dammstraße 5 in Güssing, in the immediate vicinity of the Strembach The building was demolished at the end of January 2020.The house in the present Dammstraße 5 served as a residential building for the mill operators and belonged to the Batthyany mill. The mill was always leased out, the last tenant was the Klinger family. The lease probably ended in the middle of the 1970s. The house was then used by the Quisinia student fraternity as a clubhouse for a few years and then left to decay.
